Our next meeting is at 2pm on October 18th at Holy Rosary Religious Ed Building, Milam St in Houston.

Our group study will be on the Introduction and first chapter of Abiding the Long Defeat by Conor Sweeney. Inquirers will have an Orientation and Introduction to the Dominican Order. Candidates will discuss chapters 1-4 of the book on St Rose of Lima, while the promised will discuss Gospel of John, Chapters.1-2 and the Commentary, pgs.31-67 or chapters 3-4 of Joseph Pieper’s Liesure the Basis of Culture.

We will end the meeting by heading across the street to pray Evening Prayer for Sunday. We will pray in the Church beginning promptly at 4:15 in order to be finished for the beginning of the Rosary at 4:35.
