On August 8, we will have a “Come and See” event for those who are interested in learning more about the Lay Dominicans. In place of a group study we will have some time to welcome visitors and answer questions about what it means to be a member of the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Fraternity.

After that, Inquirers will discuss Chapter 10 and Chapter 11 on the Pillars of Dominican Life. Candidates will discuss the encyclical Aeterni Patris by Pope Leo XIII on St. Thomas Aquinas Chapters. 5-8. Temp professed will discuss Ch 20-21 of the Gospel of John and pages 331-456 of the commentary. Professed will discuss Gospel of John 1.

We will end the meeting by heading across the street to pray Evening Prayer. We will pray in the Church beginning promptly at 4:15 in order to be finished for the beginning of the Rosary at 4:35. Hymn will be Now thank we all our God, Pg 973 in Vol. III.
